Dr. Vickie Byler

Dr. Vickie Byler is a CSRM associate staff member - OVP Assistant Director and The REACHgathering Administrative Director.  Dr. Byler holds a doctoral degree in Sport Management from the United States Sports Academy and has also earned a BS in Health and Physical Education.  Dr. Byler has been a pioneer in sport management and ministry while working in leadership roles at CSRM, Lancaster Bible College, the National Christian Collegiate Athletic Association and Joni and Friends. 

Dr. Byler has more than 30 years of teaching and many years of coaching experience at the high school and college level.  Dr. Byler previously served as the Director of Operations, Education and Training Coordinator for CSRM and her sport management experience has also spanned 25 years of coaching and athletic directing

at the high school and collegiate level.  Dr. Byler has previously served as the director of the Mennonite Sports Organization for several years and was the former department Chair and Professor of Sport Management and Health and Physical Education at Lancaster Bible College in Lancaster, PA.  Dr. Byler currently serves on the editorial board of Overwhelming Victory Press, the publishing house of CSRM. 

Vickie is married to Scott Byler and the mother of three active boys who are also passionate about sports!  Her hobbies include outdoor sports and recreation, being at the beach and wedding and event planning.  The Bylers live in beautiful Lancaster County Pennsylvania and Vickie’s favorite place to be is at the beach!
